Intuition and Sexual Attraction

I just read this really great article called “Survival of the Prettiest”

Survival of the Prettiest

The success of our civilization and the health of our children is, to a great degree, dependent on intelligent, thoughtful, healthy women who listen to their bodies and to their intuition when deciding to mate. This waste of time, women competing with each other regarding beauty, believing that the men know how to pick or do pick, is incorrect. A woman who sits passively back and waits for a man to approve of her is never going to get what she’s waiting for. Women are in charge! Men, from an evolutionary perspective, are waiting for a woman to pick them, so it really rests on women to set the tone and go forward with natural biology and intuition. When a man acts confident and assertive he’s displaying. He’s not trying to dominate you as a person although it is an attempt to be territorial. That’s not because he loves you as he doesn’t even know you. He lusts, all the time, and is trying to get picked.

If you watch any streaming nature show on TV, it proves that the males are the ones who dance, are colorful and work hard to be picked by a female for mating. It’s just a natural fact. Why is it reversed with patriarchy? Hatred of females is a harbinger of the death of a species if you ask me; self-hatred. It’s because women need to stop letting the males be in charge, stop over – sexualizing themselves, gain some confidence, get an education, control their mother love, and take care of themselves.

This article by David Dobbs of the New York Times starts out…

Darwin published another troublesome treatise — “The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relationship to Sex.” This expanded on an idea he mentioned only briefly in “Origin.” Sometimes, he proposed, in organisms that reproduce by having sex, a different kind of selection occurs: Animals choose mates that are not the fittest candidates available, but the most attractive or alluring. Sometimes, in other words, aesthetics rule.”

Please read the next few paragraphs of the article. Then he says this,

“To Darwin’s dismay, many biologists rejected this theory. For one thing, Darwin’s elevation of sexual selection threatened the idea of natural selection as the one true and almighty force shaping a life — a creative force powerful and concentrated enough to displace that of God. And some felt Darwin’s sexual selection gave too much power to all those females exerting choices based on beauty. As the zoologist St. George Jackson Mivart complained in an influential early review of “Descent,” “the instability of vicious feminine caprice was too soft and slippery a force to drive something as important as evolution.”

Say what??!!! I about fell off the couch when I read that. Most women are not that superficial. Maybe Mr. Mivart wasn’t being picked by an intelligent woman and was frustrated! The ones that aren’t very bright and don’t think about relationship have unstable caprice and go for the car and money…or booty. That’s a small group of women. Most women I’ve known, know that a foundation of friendship, respect, and affinity are the basis for big, lasting, sexual attraction. That’s how most women roll, and we use our intuition to do it.

But in this case, it isn’t just our intuition, it’s the science of biology combined perfectly with the intuition that demonstrates my point. The holistic scientific method demonstrates how women pick a mate. Pheromones give off silent, non-noticeable smell signals to a woman, about a man’s DNA. It doesn’t occur so much with men because they aren’t the ones reproducing. Females make the healthy baby so we have to pick! That’s just nature fellas. This stuff is deep and not even in the control of males or females. We smell each other unconsciously to put the DNA messages we get about the other person through our subconscious computer brain.

In this case, our 300,000-year-old ancient instinct is behind the selection. Family resemblance comes into play here too. Females and males tend to be drawn to people that may resemble an immediate family member if they have safe subconscious tapes about those family members. If you’re at reproductive age, you will be concerned whether or not that person will fit into your family when you have children.

Richard Prum, a mild-mannered ornithologist and museum curator from Yale, has published a book intended to win Darwin’s sex theory a more climactic victory with THE EVOLUTION OF BEAUTY (Doubleday, $30).”

“Prum considers birds artists. Manakins (Prum’s study group) carefully choreograph their dances. Bowerbirds mastered perspective in their bower building eons before human painters grokked it during the Renaissance.”

“Prum sees such aesthetic choices as driving a gradual “aesthetic remodeling” — an evolutionary reshaping of mating behavior, and even of male social behavior more widely, by the civilizing pressure of female preference. Prum stresses this is not about emasculating males or dominating them; it’s simply about selecting for males who allow females autonomy and choice.”

The sexually frustrated men who nobody loves, just start wars. We don’t want that.

I’m Jealous

I’m publishing this again because I’m no longer jealous. I figured it out and myself and turned it around. But…this was most definitely true about a month ago. Life is a rampage. We mostly have to tangle with ourselves and what we want. Jealously is projecting your wishes for yourself onto someone else. In this case, who better than my Twin Flame to take the brunt of it. I have to say, I’m not particularly enjoying this journey. There is so much mirroring! It’s a good thing he lives in a western state, 1840 miles away at this point.

Image result for image of a woman jealous of a man's power

God, it’s horrible. I’m not a jealous person but I am right now! I’m never jealous of anyone because I really do love myself generally. Of course, we all have things we need to work on in our character but I do a self-inventory regularly and I’m patient with my process. My issues with men for thirty years turned into resentment and now I see it as jealousy. I’m jealous that by virtue of their gender, what men say, write, and do is taken 100% more seriously than women. When they write a book, it will likely sell. I’m smarter and more literate than most men and it’s doubtful that my non-fiction work will ever get traction. That said I haven’t tried yet because I don’t think it’s perfect. I need to edit it down further. It’s too long.

Have you noticed that women write stories, fiction, and cookbooks and it flies? Unless a woman leaves her receptive femininity and beauty at the door (like Camille Paglia) and is no-holds-barred intellectual, no one will hear a word she says. Women have to display their male characteristics to be heard in public.

I am jealous, I realized, of my Twin Flame. Why did he get to come onto earth in his perfect, thin, small cut male body that doesn’t bleed from the inside and doesn’t feel this neurotic need to sacrifice for his children and nurture others?

Since he is my twin flame, he’s the literal embodiment of my animus. This is part of the Twin Flame journey in facing myself in the mirror. He is perfect physically (although he doesn’t think so) and it makes me sick! He looks exactly the way I always wished I could look since high school. My body was almost exactly like his in high school but less muscle. I was a trim 137 when I was a junior. Both of us are only 5’4″; the same height so there really is no justification for either of us to weigh more than 150.

He doesn’t have all this rampaging estrogen that makes his body thick with the desire to bake cheesecake and cookies, to feed others and be fed. He gets to have all the testosterone that causes him to burn fat much quicker than me because men have more muscle than women, which also gives him more aggression and confidence in the face of life’s challenges where I want to retreat. Women don’t want to fight generally speaking. That’s hormonal! We’re estrogen dominant which makes us peaceful, chatty, and horny.

Robert Downey Jr.

The worst part is the social advantages. Everybody listens to a man speak his mind no matter what color his skin is, just because he’s a man! Men’s ideas, thoughts, inventions, writing, and words dominate our world. Watch the public panels and meetings, the powerful Congressional committees and the staff of most universities. They’re men. Even white women are below all men in the human caste system. ALL men, every creed, color, intelligence level, criminal or not are listened to and taken more seriously than any woman by virtue of their gender. Well, gender is not a virtue; it’s just a biological difference.

There are many brilliant women on the planet of every creed and color and our ideas and writing need to be acknowledged if they’re good. But can anyone hear a woman’s ideas as good or will their bias always get in the way or her looks be too distracting for you to listen to her? All of our minds have been brainwashed to objectify women. Women especially do it to each other.

If a woman has a bigger brain than boobs in our patriarchal system, she doesn’t have as much power. Who is more famous; Stormy Daniels or Camille Paglia? “Who is Camille Paglia?”, you all say. Exactly.

She’s a brilliant writer and equity feminist that refuses to have sex with men and roots for their just treatment as much as women. I agree with her. Stormy Daniels is a huge chested porn star that had a liaison with Donald Trump, but she’s on the news all the time. The whole world knows who she is.

I’ve got my inner work cut out for me on this one. Jealously is a terrible trait that can only be turned by applying love. I’m not there yet.

Stretched

Wanting more, doing with less,

My mind is stretched past the sun into an abysmal, contorted, apperception too fractured and repetitive to mean what it used to mean.

Meaning is obfuscated because every day I’m in this…protoplasm of lust, whose hands and heartbeats with loving passion, not appetite.

And where am I to go in this quiescent swamp to be fed, nourished, and watered when my mouth can barely open with lips so cracked from the sun that they are silent with the sound that says nothing.

No one really knows me. Only my fingers stretch on the keys to refract a sliver of my pneuma that is groping to be relevant in a world that just needs to…

Ball up, contract, relax and breathe instead of stretching to be noticed by people who don’t even notice the miracle of their own respiring.

Telepathy is a Function of Intuition

Telepathy is probably very common but most people ignore it and think they’re imagining something; their mind is making it up. No, it probably isn’t. We have certain thoughts for a reason. The mind is not particularly random. It’s more like a radio station picking up signals.

I had another startling dream event that led to being aware that I still have my Twin Flame telepathy going on even though I feel much more emotionally detached from him since meeting him for a host of reasons. So be it.

I’m here to tell you that just because there is some distance between you and your Twin Flame, the telepathy doesn’t stop. This morning, before I woke up, my guidance team flashed a real-life picture, hard copy, of his first family in front of me; he, his ex-wife and kids to show me exactly what they looked like. I wasn’t wondering about any of that. Spirit shoved it in my face to wake me up to remind me not to neglect our connection. GEE THANKS!! Is Spirit shoving pictures of ME in front of him in his dreams? Probably not. He’s preoccupied with making peace with his family which is another lesson. We talked about him doing that too so I encouraged it.

We talked about them at length when I was out there and I thought he was at peace with it being over, but…maybe not. Because then I “saw” a big Thanksgiving get together where they could be together again for a bit and be peaceful along with his aging parents. All of that looks very good and unifying for a family whether the parents are married or not.

As we progress toward Thanksgiving, I think he’s preparing and planning the meal. The picture that was flashed to me is what spurred it again. As I said, Spirit did it because I’ve been ignoring our connection of late because HE IS! Why should I be the only one on this end of things paying attention? I’m not going to be the nice woman over here communicating. No way.

Sometimes, honestly, I question what I’ve committed myself to on this planet, being as psychic, sensitive, and intuitive as I am. The Spirit world has it’s hands on me because I volunteered to be of service from the bottom of my heart. It’s not an easy job. But the good thing is, I never feel alone or lonely, I always feel taken care of, I don’t rely on fickle humans because the Universe has my back and I’m never left in the dark with an unanswered question.

I really can’t complain and have much to be grateful for. Most of all, my intuition.

Let’s do the Amino Acid Dance

https://lisaktownsendauthor.com/tzolkin-daily-themeplex/

The Tzolkin archetypes are literally the amino acids that make up animals and plants (US!) I show it here right at the top! Just click on the link.

Amino Acids are proteins, which I assume most people know. It’s simple and our bodies are basically an acid factory breaking down everything we put into our mouths (food, drink, drugs) into their basic elements, like glucose or sugar.

Our muscles are made mostly of protein and our bodies are made mostly of muscle and blood, thus the line of work I’m in; bodyworker that focuses on medically treating the flesh.

What kind of healthcare system ignores the basic building blocks of the body as far as the focus of medical treatment? OURS! $3.7 trillion (12 zeros) spent on NONSENSE.

Take a look at this! I think you’ll be fascinated. Life IS fascinating if you are mindful of nature and your own body.

The Autumnal Darkness

As soon as it snows in Michigan, where I live, everyone says, “Winter is here!”. Well, there is autumnal snow along with the increasing darkness and the winter snow along with the increasing sunlight. I love those super bright sunny days in January where not only is the snow blinding but the sunlight as well. It’s just what we need.

There are 36 days left of autumn where it gets darker, and darker, our bodies feel sluggish because our brains don’t get the sunlight in our eyes that we need and we have to turn to our “internal light” and likely sleep more. I don’t mind hibernating a bit like a bear. As we get older, I suppose, our internal qi is waning because our organ qi is waning. It’s the way of all flesh eventually.

In 36 days, it will be Winter Solstice and the sunlight will return. We can do this!

Physicist David Bohm’s Big Truth

I quote Bohm from “Wholeness and the Implicate Order”, page 9-10

“Some might say; ‘Fragmentation of cities, religions, political systems, conflict in the form of wars, general violence, fratricide, etc., are the reality. Wholeness is only an ideal, toward which we should perhaps strive.‘ But this is not what is being said here. Rather, what should be said is that wholeness is what is real, and that fragmentation is the response of this whole to man’s action, guided by illusory perception, which is shaped by fragmentary thought. (He is saying “the whole” can respond and does.)

In other words, it is just because reality IS whole, that man, with his fragmentary approach, will inevitably be answered with a correspondingly fragmentary response. So what is needed is for a man to give attention to his habit of fragmentary thought, to be aware of it, and thus bring it to an end. Man’s approach to reality may then be whole, and so the response will be whole.

For this to happen, however, it is crucial that man be aware of the activity of his thought as such; i.e. as a form of insight a way of looking, rather than as a ‘true copy of reality as it is’. (In my field we call this Mindfulness-Lisa T.)

It is clear that we may have any number of different kinds of insights. What is called for is not an integration of thought, or a kind of imposed unity, for any such imposed point of view would itself be merely another fragment (gentrification). Rather, all our different ways of thinking are to be considered as different ways of looking at the ONE REALITY, each with some “domain in which it is clear and adequate.” End Quote

It’s like this apple. It’s “born” or grown whole but in order to use it in our bodies, it has to be reduced to the smallest pieces (digested). However, it can only do that if we first see it, want it, and eat it whole. The truth of its beauty, lusciousness, and nutrition is that IT’S WHOLE. Only when we acknowledge that will we appreciate the apple for what it is…fantastic. Everyone will observe different things about the apple but it’s still a whole apple. It’s one reality.

Camille Paglia-Some Great Reading for the Weekend

Click here for the full interview for your reading pleasure this weekend.

Camille Paglia-EXCELLENT!

Paglia is an essayist, author, and professor of humanities at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she has taught since 1984. She completed her Ph.D. at Yale under the supervision of Harold Bloom, author of The Western Canon. Her first book, Sexual Personae: Art and Decadence, from Nefertiti to Emily Dickinsonwas listed by David Bowie as one of “100 books we should all read.”

Her other books include Break, Blow, Burn, a close-reading of 43 classic poems, and Glittering Images: A Journey Through Art from Egypt to Star Wars. In recent years, her essays have been collected and published in new editions, including Free Women, Free Men: Sex, Gender, and Feminism (February 2018) and Provocations: Collected Essays on Art, Feminism, Politics, Sex, and Education, which was released by Pantheon in October 2018.

“I thought Derrida and DeMan and the rest of that crew were arrant nonsense from the start, a pedantic diversion from direct engagement with art. About the obsequious Yale welcome given to the prattlings of one continental “star” visitor, I acidly remarked to a fellow grad student sitting next to me, “They’re like high priests murmuring to each other.”

Love it.

Nevertheless, the poisons of post-structuralism have now spread throughout academe and have done enormous damage to basic scholarly standards and disastrously undermined belief even in the possibility of knowledge. I suspect history will not be kind to the leading professors who appear to have put loyalty to friends and colleagues above defending scholarly values during a chaotic era of overt vandalism that has deprived several generations of students of a profound education in the humanities. The steady decline in humanities majors is an unmistakable signal that this once noble field has become a wasteland.”

Anything focused on real intelligence, literacy, and human beings have been thrown to the wayside. I see it in holistic medicine as well, everyone willy-nilly willing to go to their white-coat and pay through the nose for their crap. People follow each other like lemmings to the sea to drown no matter how much it costs.

The headlong rush to judgment by so many well-educated, middle-class women in the #MeToo movement has been startling and dismaying. Their elevation of emotion and group solidarity over fact and logic has resurrected damaging stereotypes of women’s irrationality that were once used to deny us the vote. I found the blanket credulity given to women accusers during the recent U.S. Senate confirmation hearings for Brett Kavanaugh positively unnerving: it was the first time since college that I truly understood the sexist design of Aeschylus’s Oresteia, whose mob of vengeful Furies is superseded by formal courts of law, where evidence is weighed.”

WOW!!

What I see spreading among professional middle-class women is a bitter resentment toward men that is in many cases unjust and misplaced. With divorce so easy since the sexual revolution, women find themselves competing with younger women in new and cruel ways. Agrarian women gained power as they aged: young women were brainless pawns whose marriages, pregnancies, childcare, cooking, and other chores were acerbically supervised and controlled by the dictatorial crones (forces of nature whom I fondly remember from childhood).

In short, #MeToo from a historical perspective is a cri de coeur from women who are realizing that the sexual revolution that many of us had once ecstatically embraced has in key ways devalued women, confused their private relationships, and complicated their smooth functioning in the workplace. It’s time for a new map of the gender world.”

She’s speakin’ it. On many points, I agree with her. Crack a book, folks; female and male.

How Can Intuition Be Measured?

The Science of Intuition

These days cognitive scientists think of intuition as a set of nonconscious cognitive and affective processes; the outcome of these processes is often difficult to articulate and is not based on deliberate thinking, but it’s real and (sometimes) effective nonetheless.”

Intuition works in an associative manner: it feels effortless (even though it does use a significant amount of brain power), and it’s fast. Rational thinking, on the contrary, is analytical, requires effort, and is slow.”

Intuition is about the brain’s ability to pick up on certain recurring patterns; the more we are exposed to a particular domain of activity the more familiar we become with the relevant patterns (medical charts, positions of chess pieces), and the more and faster our brains generate heuristic solutions to the problem we happen to be facing within that domain.”

This quote doesn’t apply to the way I do readings where I’m dealing with a new individual and the person they are connected to. It’s always new energy; like meeting a new person so there is no pattern to their energy. The only pattern is the format I use over and over when tuning into their frequency.

This link mentions taking hemoglobin readings before and after hands-on healing. Check out the link. Below is a quote from it. Check your cognitive dissonance at the door on this. Just because something makes you uncomfortable you can’t say, “No, it’s not true.”

Psychic/Intuitive Healing

The healer for this study was Oskar Estebany, a Hungarian who seemed to have an uncanny ability to treat all kinds of problems by the ‘laying-on-of-hands’: he would simply place one or both hands on the person (or near their body) and visualize a positive energies surging into the patient’s body.

Estebany thus treated 49 patients, who were suffering from a broad range of illnesses; Krieger selected another 29 patients with similar problems and medical profiles who would receive no psychic healing from Estebany, and thus serve as a comparison (or ‘control’) group. When all sessions were completed, Krieger compared the blood samples of the two groups. She found that hemoglobin levels of ‘treated’ groups had increased much more than the hemoglobin level of the ‘untreated’ patients: as attested by an objective measure, the patients which Estebany had visited were in better shape. What was especially striking was that this increase in vitality was not just a short-term, transient effect; in a follow-up study, Krieger found that the difference in hemoglobin levels were still statistically significant a full year after Estebany’s treatment!”

What distinguishes these approaches from all other forms of cure – including those based on homeopathy, herbs, acupuncture, and so forth – is that psychic healing does not seem to involve any known physical substance or energy”

Well, it’s not known yet but everyone in my field can feel it as can our patients. It’s Qi and Love. That’s been known forever on Earth. Just because so many people are cynical about it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It just seems to have been replaced lately by materialism and TV and it’s bringing us and the planet down.

But most Americans would rather spend $3.4 trillion (12 zeros) on modern medicine than cash on bodywork and Reiki as well as other holistic therapies. My treatments work if you stick with it and have worked for twenty years and I combine intuition with reason. I kind of wish we could get on with it here and speed things up. The money wasted on the modern snake oil and invasive tech is bankrupting Americans.

What’s the actual problem? Fear of judgment from ignorant family and friends? Keeping up appearances? If they’re ignorant, why do you care? Be smart. Use holistic services and be well and whole!

Autumn
