Body Truth; Size Bias


I’ve been pondering size bias. Theory; Over time, in human communities during times of scarcity, larger people had a higher status. It meant they had more access to and control of food when others did not. That meant they were more powerful. In times of plenty (modern times), smaller people have a higher status. It means they, unlike everyone else, can control the amount of food they eat, which makes them more powerful. It has nothing to do with health. It has to do with wanting social power. There are plenty of people who are very thin and unhealthy and people who are hefty and perfectly healthy-ME
